HEI Hotels & Resorts has assumed management of three Even hotels, the Connecticut-based hotel management company announced Wednesday.
HEI will manage the 202-room Even Hotel Brooklyn in Brooklyn, New York, the 167-room Even Hotel Rockville in Rockville, Maryland, and the 128-room Even Hotel Norwalk in Norwalk, Connecticut.
Each of the hotels offer meeting rooms and fitness centers, as well as an Even Kitchen & Bar, the brand’s 24/7 marketplace and health food-forward restaurant.
All three properties are owned by a joint venture between Taconic Capital Advisors and 6R Capital Group, both based in New York.
“HEI’s growing relationship with Taconic Capital Advisors is rewarding as we continue to align our mutual objectives and we are excited to build a new relationship with the team at 6R Capital Group,” said Anthony Rutledge, HEI Hotels & Resorts CEO and managing partner.
Last year, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts debuted a new prototype for its Even hotels oriented toward guest health and wellness. In May, it broke ground on the Even Hotel Sweetwater — Doral in a western suburb of Miami, which will open in 2024 aligning with the new prototype, featuring in-room exercise amenities and a “health-conscious” restaurant.
HEI owns or operates more than 100 luxury, upper-upscale and upscale hotels and resorts in the U.S. Beyond IHG, HEI’s branding partners include Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Choice and Wydham.
