- AutoCamp Sequoia offers 85 accommodations, spanning the brand’s signature Airstream Suites, Cabins, Bunk Rooms and BaseCamp Suites, which include a combination of an Airstream and luxury tent. The property also includes event space as well as outdoor-centric amenities and experiences for guests seeking “connection and adventure in the great outdoors,” per AutoCamp.
- The property marks the fourth in California for AutoCamp, which aims to provide accommodations for leisure and group travelers in the top U.S. outdoor destinations. AutoCamp Sequoia is available through Hilton’s booking channels as part of a deal the accommodation providers inked last year.
Dive Insight:
With new lodging options and enhanced event capabilities, AutoCamp Sequoia “marks an exciting evolution for our brand as we introduce expanded accommodations tailored for groups and families,” AutoCamp Chief Marketing Officer Bryan Terzi said in a statement. The property opens as multigenerational travel ramps up this year.
The property’s Bunk Rooms, which AutoCamp describes as the brand’s most extensive and spacious accommodations yet, were designed specifically for families and sleep up to six guests.
AutoCamp Sequoia also offers a variety of gathering spaces for groups, including the 3,350-square-foot Clubhouse with lounge areas, games, indoor and outdoor fire pits and a bar.
Additionally, the property includes the Ponderosa Lawn for outdoor events like reception dinners or large retreat gatherings. The Cedar Room, meanwhile, serves as an indoor event space for corporate meetings or workshops, according to AutoCamp. The property also has a private indoor meeting space for smaller gatherings, The Pine Room.
Other on-site amenities include a heated outdoor pool, complimentary bikes and access to nearby outdoor activities like hiking, spelunking, fly fishing and kayaking. The Kitchen and the Clubhouse’s General Store provide locally sourced food and beverage options for guests, including AutoCamp’s signature grilling and s’mores kits.
AutoCamp Sequoia, like all AutoCamp properties, is available on Hilton's booking channels, and guests can earn Hilton Honors points through their stays as part of the companies’ exclusive relationship formed last year, an AutoCamp spokesperson told Hotel Dive.
Other AutoCamp locations include Yosemite, Joshua Tree and Russian River in California; Zion, Utah; Cape Cod, Massachusetts; Asheville, North Carolina; and Catskills, New York. The partnership plans to add more destinations in 2025, including in the Hill Country of Texas, Hilton announced last year.
Marriott International and Hyatt Hotels are similarly expanding in the outdoor accommodations sector as travel demand heats up in the space.
