Choice Hotels International is overhauling its C-suite to position the company for “continued future growth.”
Choice will promote four of its executives — Dominic Dragisich, Scott Oaksmith, Raul Ramirez and Anna Scozzafava — in a shake up set to create a “more flexible and agile organizational structure,” the company said. The leadership changes follow Choice’s acquisition of Radisson Hotels Americas in August 2022.
Dragisich, who joined Choice in 2017, will take on the role of executive vice president of operations and chief global brand officer from his previous role of chief financial officer. In his new position, Dragisich will oversee all of Choice's brand segments, brand development, segment services and corporate development.
Oaksmith will take over for Dragisich as CFO from his previous position of senior vice president and deputy chief financial officer. As CFO, the more than 20-year Choice veteran will lead the company’s overall financial strategy and corporate growth initiatives.
Ramirez will be promoted from chief strategy and international operations officer to chief segment and international operations officer. In his new role, Ramirez will be responsible for Choice's upscale, extended stay and core midscale and economy brands as well as the international division, the company said. Since joining Choice in 2017, Ramirez has led the integration of the Radisson Americas brands and the WoodSpring Suites extended stay brand.
Scozzafava, who has also helped drive the growth and expansion of Choice’s extended stay portfolio, will be promoted from senior vice president and general manager of extended stay brands to chief strategy officer and senior vice president of technology. Scozzafava brings more than 10 years of experience at Choice to the role and will oversee the company’s corporate strategy, business analytics and technology functions.
