In 2024, a slew of hospitality companies — from hotel management firms and associations to global operators — made changes to their top C-suite role: the CEO. 

Some hotel industry CEOs were appointed as part of larger company restructurings, while others were tapped to solve operational challenges and legal woes. Others, still, were named to fill the gap left behind by departed leaders. 

Regardless of the reason, the chief executive appointments made this year are slated to not only shape company-specific decisions, but also how the hotel industry functions at large.
