Dive Insight:
In June of last year, The Wall Street Journal dubbed Fort Worth “America’s fastest growing major city.”
Le Méridien is Fort Worth’s third luxury hotel, according to The Dallas Morning News. It’s one of a number of high-end projects underway in the quickly growing area.
Le Méridien Fort Worth has floor-to-ceiling windows designed to offer scenic views of the city’s downtown. Design elements blend modern aesthetics with touches left behind from the former Hotel Texas Annex.
The hotel will participate in the brand’s Unlock Art program, which offers guests complimentary access to city art institutions such as the Amon Carter Museum and the Caravan of Dreams Art Studio.
The hotel’s rooftop lounge, Annex, will offer live music, cocktails and light bites. Hotel amenities also include a fitness center, a rooftop pool and nearly 5,000 square feet of function space.
Last summer, luxury property The Crescent Hotel opened its doors in Fort Worth. Wellness resort operator Canyon Ranch, which has a spa on The Crescent Hotel’s premises, is also expanding in the city thanks to an injection of funds from VICI Properties.
Remington Hospitality will manage Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown.
