Dive Insight:
The Tempo by Hilton brand currently has more than 35 properties under development. The lifestyle hotel brand caters to “active, ambitious travelers,” according to Hilton.
“With our target customer in mind, the modern achiever, it was a no brainer when choosing Nashville as a location for our newest Tempo by Hilton property, adding to the Music City footprint of outstanding accommodations by Hilton, and growing the new lifestyle brand,” said Kevin Morgan, global brand head for Tempo by Hilton, in a statement, who also called Tempo by Hilton a “wellness-focused brand.”
The Nashville location includes six wellness guest rooms with a Peloton spin bike, resistance bands and a yoga mat. The pet-friendly property also offers the city’s first Topgolf Swing Suites.
There are multiple food and beverage concepts on-property, including Nashville’s first Bluestone Lane Café, the Lovelorn Lounge and Pool Bar, plus an outdoor pool bar offering a Mediterranean-inspired menu and cocktails.
The hotel is the second Tempo by Hilton to open, following the brand’s August debut in Manhattan’s Times Square, a hotbed for hotel openings in recent months. The 661-key Times Square property offers similar amenities to Tempo by Hilton Nashville.
With the Nashville opening, Hilton continues its push in the burgeoning lifestyle space. In addition to Tempo by Hilton, the company has ramped up development on its Motto by Hilton and Canopy by Hilton brands in recent months, including in new markets like San Francisco.
Hilton is reportedly considering the purchase of boutique hotel brand Graduate Hotels, which could also expand its lifestyle offerings.
