Hospitality companies — from management firms to real estate investment trusts to global operators — made C-suite-level leadership changes in the second quarter of 2024 that are poised to impact operations and performance. 

Industry players like management company Stonebridge and REIT Ashford Hospitality named new CEOs, while hotel operator Loews Hotels & Co appointed a new COO. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, on the other hand, created a chief commercial officer role, tapping its former CIO, Scott Strickland, for the job. 

Development and finance professionals made moves, too, with Wyndham naming Amit Sripathi as its chief development officer, and Aimbridge Hospitality and Hotel Equities hiring new CFOs. 

Some of the C-suite shifts are part of larger company restructurings, while LuxUrban’s CEO appointment was made in a bid to rehab beleaguered operations.
