Hospitality management company TPG Hotels & Resorts is centralizing its management platform with a new national operations headquarters in Dallas.
TPG’s new headquarters, home to the company’s operations division, will be located within the District 121 mixed-use community in the Dallas suburb of McKinney, Texas.
The strategic decision to centralize TPG’s operations platform to the Dallas area was based on multiple factors that position the firm as a leader in the industry, Ben Perelmuter, president and chief operating officer at TPG Hotels & Resorts, said in a statement.
“Dallas is an ideal location with its deep pool of hospitality talent and ideal central-U.S. location, making travel easy and efficient for clients, brands, partners, and staff,” Perelmuter said. He added that greater Dallas has become “the nation’s hub for leading hospitality management firms.”
Hospitality management companies with offices in and around Dallas include Remington Hospitality, Coury Hospitality and Quorum Hotels & Resorts, among others.
The metro area is also experiencing a boom in hotel development bolstered by increased leisure and business travel. Dallas led other global markets with the largest hotel construction pipeline in the fourth quarter of 2023, according to Lodging Econometrics.
While TPG’s operations division will consolidate in Dallas, the firm will maintain its corporate headquarters in Providence, Rhode Island. The firm will also keep offices in New York; Atlanta; Palm Beach, Florida; and Salisbury, Maryland.
TPG Hotels & Resorts has operated more than 600 branded and independent hotels across all chain scales.
