- The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North has completed its multimillion-dollar renovation, updating public spaces, guest rooms and food and beverage options, the hotel’s operator, HEI Hotels & Resorts, announced Thursday.
- The improvements “touched on all aspects of the hotel,” according to HEI, as well as added a new café and marketplace and poolside cabanas.
- The Westin is located in the Perimeter Center neighborhood of Atlanta, a city among the top U.S. markets with the largest hotel construction pipeline. The city’s tourism bureau says Atlanta’s “hospitality portfolio will continue to experience a tremendous amount of growth over the next three years.”

As part of the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North’s renovation, the hotel’s 372 guest rooms and suites were upgraded with all new soft goods and bathroom amenities. The property also introduced two Perimeter Suites, the largest of which is a bilevel suite with two bedrooms.
The lobby, which has been revamped with a contemporary look and natural light, boasts a new café and marketplace with quick bites and a Starbucks outlet.
The hotel offers more than 20,000 square feet of flexible meetings and event space, an outdoor pool, a farm-to-table restaurant and a fitness room. It also has easy access to Atlanta’s MARTA rail, the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center and the upscale Perimeter Mall.
Atlanta is currently a hub of domestic hotel activity, according to Lodging Econometrics’ U.S. Construction Pipeline Trend Report for the second quarter of 2023. The report ranked the city as having the second-largest hotel construction pipeline in the U.S., just behind Dallas, with 141 projects and 17,993 rooms.
Several hotels are launching or reopening in Atlanta over the next few years, according to the city’s tourism bureau, Discover Atlanta. Hotels opening in 2023 include a 124-key Four Points by Sheraton and 125-room Motto by Hilton. Construction on a 900-room Signia by Hilton is also underway, with the hotel slated to open in early 2024.
The city welcomes more than 1 million visitors a year.
